kuwait“The Council of Ministers of B&H has very important goals for economic development of the country, and it is encouraging us as well. Prosperity is the most important for investors in Kuwait, and guarantees for investments are also important,” said Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Issues of Kuwait Walid Alkhobaizi to journalists from B&H during the study visit to the country.

He stated that relations between the two countries are excellent and that economic objectives are intensified at the same time. The number of visits and investments from Kuwait to B&H are increased, which is supported by the ministry.

“We see good opportunity for investment in B&H, because it is an important country in Europe and its membership in the European Union is promising. We hope that the local communities will see its importance for further development. For us, partnership is very important and we believe that B&H is very important destination for Kuwait,” he said.

Alkhobaizi believes that relations between the two countries are especially improving because of the intensive visits of Kuwaiti tourists to B&H, adding that other sectors such as medical tourism is also important, but the focus is on education and invitation that Kuwaitis come to study more on B&H universities.

“It is important to continue with our work together. We have a civil contracts between the two countries which are regulating relations in most of sectors and we have intention to develop education, health care, consultations, diplomacy etc. We need to continue with cooperation in international affairs, especially in these important times. We are looking forward to continue these relations with B&H, and we are also encouraging visits of government officials from various sectors of both countries in 2016, and we are hoping for the total improvement of co-operation in this year,” he said.
