Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turkovic talked today with a delegation of the Central Election Commission of BiH, led by newly elected President Suad Arnautovic, about cooperation between the Ministry and the CEC of BiH in preparations for the General Elections. consular networks in this regard.
It was agreed to urgently form a special joint working group that will, at the technical level, prepare all the preconditions for the voting of BiH citizens living outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Also, during the meeting, the Minister pointed out that the General Elections must be held in accordance with the law in due time, and that she expects that the BiH Council of Ministers, after establishing the Fiscal Framework, will determine the budget proposal and send it to parliamentary procedure, the BiH MFA announced.
“All citizens of BiH, regardless of where they are, must have equal rights and conditions for voting in elections. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH will do everything possible in accordance with the law to create optimal conditions in the DCM network and I believe that we will successfully cooperate with the Central Election Commission. As of today, intensive activities are starting in that direction ,” said Minister Turkovic.
