All Police Agencies involved in securing the Opening of Ferhadija Mosque

13081957_1160590757325212_1745582203_nMinistry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska formed a staff whose obligation is to prepare the security plan and undertake immediate operational-tactical measures on securing the opening of Ferhat Paša’s Mosque in Banja Luka on May 7.

“Taking into consideration the specificity of this event and the expected arrival of a large number of citizens from all around BiH and the region, as well as the fact that the event should be attended by officials from RS, BiH and broader, the Staff of the MIA RS included in its work the representatives of other police agencies in BiH (Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in BiH, Border Police BiH, State Investigation and Protection Agency BiH, Intelligence Security Agency BiH, Ministry of Internal Affairs of FBiH, and cantonal ministries of internal affairs),” the entity police stated.

Based on elements of security evaluation, security staff for the event “Ferhadija 2016” plans all necessary activities on physical, operational, counter diversional, traffic and all other types of security.

Since the opening of Ferhat Paša’s Mosque will be followed by a large number of media houses, press staff is kindly asked to register with the Organizing Committee for the opening of Ferhadija as soon as possible, because possession of credentials will be a condition for unhindered movement.

Ferhadija Mosque will be opened on May 7 this year.
