Alma Zadic, who was on the Greens’ list, was elected to the Austrian parliament in the parliamentary elections held yesterday in Austria.

Zadic is a lawyer and after a division in the Greens, she was on the side of the founder Peter Pilze and on his list in the elections managed to win enough votes to enter the parliament.

Thus, this lady from Tuzla will be the first person from Bosnia and Herzegovina to win a seat in the highest legislative body of Austria. Zadic was on the list under number 6, and given that the Green list won enough votes, this guarantees her entry into parliament.

She is responsible for the issue of integration and advocates the formation of a special ministry that will deal with these issues.
