Almedina Hatarić as Winner of a valuable Prize of the Embassy of USA in B&H

Almedina Hatarić Application mediax.baAlmedina Hatarić, student at the International University of Travnik, won a valuable prize and acknowledgement of the Embassy of USA in B&H as one of five members of the winning team which created the socially beneficial app “Catch The Bus”.

As announced by the mentioned University, the app was presented at the competition “Hackathon – Zajedno postižemo više” whose main idea was the creation of socially beneficial web and mobile apps. The competition was held last weekend at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo.

In an exceptionally strong competition including 12 teams, the work of the rewarded team evoked great interest, and the members of the team were awarded for their creativity, effort and innovation with mobile phones iPhone 6 and a visit to the company KKR in Switzerland.

Possibility of presenting the project outside B&H was also announced.
