Almir Jusović began skateboarding when he was only seven years old in Slovenia. At the time he learned how to skate, skateboard was very popular in Slovenia. As all boys of that age, he also did a lot of other sports, but came back to his first love. As he says now, he saw his future in skateboarding.  Almir Jusović was born in Slovenia, but as he said, he is Bosnian. His father came to Slovenia and married his mother.  This thirty year old skateboarder is one of the best in his profession. Although this sport is very dangerous, and as he says, full of unexpected injuries, that never made him give up his passion.

“ I used to watch tricks by Rodney Mullen. He was my idol because he did ”his stuff”, or he was unique. Now I’m trying to that too, and that is my biggest satisfaction. I want to be grateful and professional  as much as possible”- said Almir.

Almir Jusović attended numerous competitions, provoked excitement all around, and now he is doing his promotion film about skateboarding. According to him, it is some sort of a commercial that aims at promoting new skateboard tricks.

” I also want to make this sport more popular, and I expect that this film could be finished by the end of this year. It is very important for me to experiment and to do things that no one does.”- said Almir.

His inspiration comes when he is high on adrenalin, and he also admits that he is some kind of an adrenalin junkie. Last year he tried to break the record of 125,6 km/h on his skateboard but he did not succeed. On the other side, Almir was very close because he rode his skateboard at a speed of 124 km/h.  That is very impressive, and that certainly makes him the fastest B&H skateboarder.
