The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, today adopted the Decision on the selection of beneficiaries of budget funds for the purpose of incentives for the purchase of electric cars. The funds are determined in the Budget of the Federation of BiH to the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry “Current transfers and other current expenditures – current transfers to individuals – incentive for purchasing electric cars”.
The decision grants beneficiaries funds in the total amount of 498,000 KM in the form of a subsidy for the purchase of 89 new cars, exclusively electric, as well as hybrid cars that have an electric engine and an internal combustion engine.
Incentive funds will be paid from the funds of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry determined in the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023, Current transfers to individuals – Incentives for the purchase of electric cars.
The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry will enter into contracts with beneficiaries of financial incentives on the allocation of incentives, with defined rights and obligations of the contracting parties, and beneficiaries who conclude a contract with the Federal Ministry will have funds paid into their accounts.
The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry and the Federal Ministry of Finance are responsible for the implementation of this decision, each within their jurisdiction.
This decision enters into force on the following day from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of FBiH.
