The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that it received 118 aid trucks on Sunday and Monday through the Rafah border crossing. Since October 21, 569 aid trucks have entered the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that “Palestinian Red Crescent teams received 25 Egyptian Red Crescent trucks loaded with humanitarian aid through the Rafah crossing on Sunday.” In a later statement, they confirmed that they had received 93 aid trucks from the Egyptian Red Crescent through the Rafah crossing on Monday.

They said the trucks contained “food, water, aid, medical supplies and medicine, while fuel is not allowed for now.” “The number of trucks received since October 21 is 569, roughly equivalent to about 33 trucks per day,” it said.

The first aid convoy entered Gaza on October 21. Twenty trucks, mostly carrying medical and food supplies, entered Gaza after 13 days of strict Israeli blockade of the Strip and shelling of the Rafah crossing.
