Almost Million Passengers in Sarajevo, and 20.000 in Banja Luka

Five lines to Western Europe with two flights in one week per line, is a wish of the Banja Luka Airport management. Only Air Serbia continues to fly from it to Belgrade. The previously mentioned Göteborg-Banjaluka-Podgorica line was not implemented.

“It is clear that our decision is to talk to low-budget companies, and that is the most important thing that our citizens should know,” said Dusko Kovacevic, acting director of the Airport Banja Luka.

Support to the commercialization of the Banja Luka Airport, at least advisory one, comes from Belgrade.

“If we mention the low-costers individually at the moment, it would weaken the negotiating position. They are reading the press clipping from the Banja Luka Airport, which happened at the press conference. Our intention is to go very decisively in this direction, to prepare it, and of course we expect to get all our authority that we have invested in as the management of the Belgrade Airport. That is why I came with the strongest crew, “ said Sasa Vlaisavljevic, the acting director of Nikola Tesla Airport.

Even a cargo center at the Banja Luka Airport is not functioning. Works were stopped in the middle of the last year due to irregularities.

Image of the BH sky is improved by the Tuzla Airport, which records historical results.
