alumina_zvornikBauxite mines from Posušje and Široki Brijeg will deliver this year 150.000 tons of ore for the production process in ‘Alumina’ in Zvornik.

These are considerably larger amounts compared to 2013 when these two mines from the area of Western Herzegovina shipped close to 100.000 tons of ‘red ore’ to Zvornik.

This was announced after directors of the bauxite mines from Posušje and Široki Brijeg Zvonko Landeka and Drago Galić visited ‘Alumina’, and spoke with the management of Zvornik companies on current business cooperation of these business companies.

‘’We have long cooperation with the factory in Zvornik. The dynamics of delivery is carried out under the contract, which stipulates that the mine in Posušje in 2014 would deliver 100.000 tons of bauxite to Zvornik’s Alumina’’, said Director Zvonko Landeka.

Director of the bauxite mine in Široki Brijeg Drago Galić said that the entire annual production of coal of this mine is around 50.000 tons, intended to the Zvornik company, announced Alumina.
