Marin Bevanda, Luka Vucina and Robert Rozic are nineteen year olds from Mostar, who have invented a “keychain with super powers”, a unique product on the market.
They named it ‘Rubico’, and it is a keychain, which is in the size of the cigarette lighter, and serves as a power bank, or a charger for mobile phones, and it has a memory like USB as well.
“For example, if you are taking a photo or record a video, and there is no memory on your cell phone, documents can be automatically sent to the keychain. Rubico also has a battery, and we are planning to improve the product over time,” they explained.
“We’re a startup from Spark, and we are together since August last year, while Tamara Knezovic joined the team as a project manager few months ago. Marin is a designer of the keychain. Luka is hardware engineer while Robert is a programmer,” they said, adding that they got the idea for this product after they had a problem with the battery and lack of memory on their phones every day.
“We primarily wanted to make something for ourselves, something little, usable and smart. We started with the simplest, there are similar products on the market, but nothing like this and we will upgrade it. We asked our visitors on our Facebook page to send us their ideas and suggestions so that they could be included in the upgrade of the product as well,” said the members of Amplius.
“Keychain will be available in three different versions. There will be a category for teenagers, business people and students. Battery life and memory will be different in each keychain, and they will be made of different materials,” explained Marin, Luke and Robert.
“For now, as we said, we have a prototype and we are working on improving the system board in order for everything to go according to the rules. We also cooperate with Ladislav Juric, who held a workshop and became interested in our product. We are having meetings with him, he advises us and we are preparing for the kickstarter campaign,” explained Knezovic.
