Remains of Five People exhumed in the Area of Visegrad

VisegradUnder the supervision of the Prosecution of BiH at the site of the local cemetery “Svibo”, Međeđa, in the Municipality of Visegrad, the exhumation of the remains of five people was performed. Bone samples were also taken for DNA analysis for further identification process.

The exhumation process was coordinated by an investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecution of BiH, and in the process of search and exhumation of remains were also involved officials from the Missing Persons Institute of BiH, a doctor in forensic medicine, as well as police officers from the Police Station of Visegrad.

The Prosecution of BiH, together with the institutions involved in process of searching for missing persons in BiH, continues its activities in the process of searching and exhuming of the missing persons in all parts of BiH, as announced from this institution.
