organic_produceThe German nonprofit organization “Help Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe”, in cooperation with local associations for development and affirmation of society NODAS opened the first store of domestic products by small producers from B&H, which ‘Help’ supported in the last nine years, according to portal Indikator.ba.

In this way, they wish to support small producers with the intention of finding markets, and to offer consumers quality local products. The store opened with a ceremony and included addresses by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Germany to B&H Gabriele Mandela Kowalski, as well as the General Director of ‘Help’ Karin Settele.

”The store will operate on a fair trade basis, and all products are local and quality controlled. The store has products from various regions in B&H, and we have honey and products from honey, dairy products, teas from herbs, fruits and vegetables and products from fruits and vegetables, flour and other things. In this way, we will enable small producers to continue to develop and expand their current production capacities, and boost the standardization and certification of products, which is one of the basic conditions for survival in the domestic market”, said Almin Adžović, President of ‘Help’ for B&H.
