At the end of June, that is, at the beginning of July 2026, 109,121 blocked accounts of business entities were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or 263 more than a month earlier, according to data from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The new report, which contains 4,421 pages (9 more than the previous month), also stated that at the end of June, that is, at the beginning of July this year, 59,566 companies had at least one blocked account, which is 94 more than the previous month.
In this updated report of blocked accounts listed in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Unified Register of Accounts, legal entities from all spheres of social life are listed, from businesses, shops, hair salons, gas stations, pharmacies, surgeries, cafes and restaurants, to various agencies, cooperatives, and companies. This list also includes mines, local communities, municipalities, sports associations…
In the first report of the Central Bank of BiH, published at the beginning of November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
