Tarik SadovicTarik Sadovic, Ambassador of BiH in Qatar, on the occasion of events in this country said that there is no place for panic and that there is enough food, water, and money.

“We had a briefing in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and they assured us that there is no reason for fear and that they will solve the situation in a peaceful way and through diplomatic channels,” said Sadovic.

When it comes to the current situation in Qatar, Sadovic said that there is no room for concern, especially not for panic.

“Everything is functioning, shopping centers are working, banks as well, and the traffic is in the function. I think that the panic was caused by a lot of information that is appearing, especially on social networks,” he said.

He added that citizens of BiH, who are residing in that country, are writing e-mails, calling, asking, they are concerned and that is normal. The embassy is telling them not to panic but to be alert.

Purchases in stores in Doha are increased, and according to Sadovic, shopping centers are not empty as media report, and there is enough of food.

“Qatar is a maritime country. There are many ways to deliver food and everything that is needed, and I was informed that they have reserves until the end of the year,” stated the Ambassador of BiH to Qatar.
