Police Academy Promotion fena.co.baThe Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs (FMIA) promoted a total of 125 new police officers who completed their training on the Police Academy. This is the 30th promotion of new and educated young police officers who decided for this challenging job.

“The job that you have chosen is full of challenges and only one mistake can sometimes cost you your career. That is why you have to always keep in mind that you are doing the right thing by using the knowledge you gained here, learning from your older colleagues and upgrading yourself every day. Do not forget that the value of police work is measured by the pleasure of our citizens, and that is why I expect you to justify the trust that our citizens entrusted you,” said Aljosa Campara, Federal Minister of the Internal Affairs.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalic said that the Government of FBiH is monitoring the result of the work of the police on a regular basis. He said that there is a wrong perception in the public that we live in an unsafe environment because, according to him, we live in unsafe time.

He noted that the Police Academy is historical and it is expected that they will contribute to the process of making the security situation in FBiH even better.

“The progress achieved in the training is obvious from generation to generation. The training that you have successfully completed represents the foundation on which you will build your career,” said the Director of the Police Academy Nusret Besirevic, and thanked the international community for all the support.

In the past year, a total of 3,390 students attended several types of training at the Police Academy, and another 306 students are currently attending the training. There is a need for another 500 students.
