“China strongly believes that international cooperation should be mutually beneficial. Regardless of how many challenges it faces, China will remain committed to liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment,” said the Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to BiH, Chen Bo.

The Ambassador of China said that China “is ready to cooperate with other countries in the world in order to support the trade regime and ensure that economic globalization is moving in an open, inclusive, balanced and useful way for everyone”, during a speech at the business forum “Cooperation in agricultural investments and equipment 16+1”, which took place as part of the 21st Mostar Fair, in the presence of representatives of government institutions, chambers of commerce, companies and diplomatic corps.

The Ambassador of China stated in her opening address that agricultural cooperation could be a new bright spot for the increase and cooperation within 16 + 1.

“China has an advantage when it comes to agricultural equipment, technology and capital, and its companies are more willing and able to operate abroad. The 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe have a favorable geographical position as well as great natural resources. They need foreign investments and better equipment and technology in order to make their agricultural products more competitive in the market. The agricultural sectors of the two sides are mutually fitting. That kind of complementarity should be used through different forms of cooperation, such as M & A, construction of common agricultural parks, etc,” noted Chen Bo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to BiH.

The Mostar Fair will be held from April 10 to 14, and it is attended by numerous official and economic delegations, including Chinese.
