Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Emin Cohodarevic, spoke with the Chairman of the Senate of IR Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Gilani, about advancing bilateral cooperation between BiH and Pakistan.

Cohodarevic informed Gilani about the activities of the Embassy in further strengthening bilateral relations and BiH’s European path.

Senator Gilani recalled the deep ties of friendship between IR Pakistan and BiH.

He informed the ambassador about the preparations for the Interparliamentary Conference “Peace, Security and Development,” which will bring together parliamentary leaders from around the world on November 11th and 12th in Islamabad, and handed him invitations for the speakers of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PABiH).

During a cordial and open conversation, Cohodarevic and Gilani discussed all aspects of cooperation between the parliaments of the two states, as well as the exchange of visits by officials at the highest level.

It was jointly assessed that expanding the legal framework between the two countries is of great importance for even better and more diverse ties.

The meeting was held at the senator’s residence in Islamabad, the Embassy of BiH in Pakistan stated.
