People’s Front: Dodik is ready for Anything, just to survive in Political Life

“Everything that will happen at today’s session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska has nothing to do with the interests of the Serbian people and the RS, but with the interests of the leader of the ruling coalition in RS, Milorad Dodik,” said the president of the People’s Front, Jelena Trivić. She assessed that Dodik is ready to do anything, even “to lead RS to extinction, just so that he can survive in political life.”

“The intention of the authorities and Milorad Dodik is to invalidate the laws, for signing the decrees on the promulgation of which he was tried – the Law on Non-Publishing OHR Decisions in the Official Gazette of the RS and the Law on Non-Implementation of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH on the Territory of the RS,” she announced on social networks.

She added that this is a political trade, which, as she stated, the RS has not experienced, emphasizing that “instead of withdrawing from political life, Milorad Dodik is trampling on both the National Assembly and all institutions of the Republika Srpska.”

Trivić further assessed that the proposal to “appoint the biggest NATO lobbyist Ana Trišić-Babić as acting president of the RS is an unprecedented act, not only because such an appointment is unconstitutional, but also because it concerns a person without any political foundation, who is indirectly involved in major corruption scandals, known as corona contracts”.

The company of Željko Babić, the husband of Ana Trišić-Babić, is under investigation for purchasing respirators during the coronavirus pandemic, and he is accused of damaging the entity budget by more than two million euros, together with the director of the RS Health Insurance Fund, Dejan Kusturić.

“It remains to be seen whether Dodik will declare another capitulation to foreign interests as his victory. Every victory of this traitor means a loss for the RS”, Trivić added.

She concluded that “it was expected that Dodik capitulated for the umpteenth time,” and that “RS and Serbian national interests must not be allowed to capitulate to traitors like Milorad Dodik and Ana Trišić-Babić because of this.”
