Ambassador Ferguson in Brcko with District officials and businessmen

Ambasador Ferguson sa predsjednikom i potpredsjednikom Skupstine BDBritish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edward Ferguson, paid his first visit to Brcko District today where he met Mayor Anto Domic and Deputy Mayor Esed Kadric, as well as Brcko District Assembly Speaker Djordja Kojic and Deputy Speaker Adem Ribic. In his meetings, Ambassador Ferguson encouraged Brcko District officials to take steps to unblock the functioning of local institutions, in order to pass urgent social and economic reforms.

This morning, Ambassador Ferguson attended the “Brcko – Smart City” forum organised by Brcko District Government, where he learned about the plans for developments in energy, construction, water management and other sectors in Brcko District.

On the margins of the Forum, Ambassador Ferguson and Head of the UK Trade and Investment Team in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alma Kadunic, met the British software development company H&H Inc, which has a software development office in Tuzla with 35 employees.

Ambassador met Director of Port of Brcko Pero Gudeljevic to hear about the Port’s plans for future development and possible cooperation with British companies.
