The BiH Embassy in China presented the cultural and tourist offer of BiH at the “European Youth Cultural Festival 2026”, which was held at Jinshanyuan Square in Beijing, Srna news agency was told today at the BiH Embassy in China.

BiH Ambassador to China Siniša Berjan spoke during the opening ceremony of the festival, and then held a presentation on the cultural heritage and tourist attractions of BiH, adapted for children.

As a special guest, the participants were also addressed by the famous travel writer Robert Dacešin, who spoke about his travels, as well as the importance of tourism and culture in connecting peoples.

The BiH stand attracted great attention from visitors and the media, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with traditional folk costumes, souvenirs and local sweets, as well as the tourism potential of BiH.

A special contribution was made by students from BiH who are studying the Chinese language in China – through workshops, games and conversations with the youngest, they introduced them to the culture and tradition of BiH.

BiH’s participation in this event confirmed the country’s commitment to strengthening cultural cooperation, promoting diversity and building bridges of friendship among young people around the world, according to the Embassy of BiH in China.

This day-long event gathered several thousand visitors yesterday with the aim of strengthening intercultural dialogue and friendship between young people from China and European countries.

The festival was attended by 17 embassies accredited in China, which presented their countries through national stands, cultural programs and interactive activities.

The festival program included numerous activities – from meetings with diplomats and creative workshops to stage performances and exhibitions dedicated to culture and literacy.
