The Ambassador of the US to BiH Patrick Moon visited the Prosecutor Office of BiH, where he spoke with the Chief Prosecutor Goran Salihović.
Salihović spoke to the Ambassador about the future priorities in the activities of the Prosecutor Office of BiH, among which will be intensive work on the organized rime and corruption, war crimes, as well as crimes of terrorism.
Also at the meeting they discussed cooperation of judicial institutions in BiH with judicial institutions in countries in the region, as well as the current accommodation facilities of the BiH Prosecutor Office and the improvement of living and working conditions.
Ambassador Moon spoke of the importance of increased efforts in the processing of corruption cases, and additional progress in processing the prosecution of war crimes.
Moon expressed support for the BiH Prosecution in the process of establishing in the rule of law in BiH and the criminal prosecution of the perpetrators of the most serious criminal offenses in order to create a safe environment for BiH citizens.
The US Embassy in the last period helped the work of the Judiciary and the Prosecutor Office in BiH, and that support will continue in the future, announced from the Department of Public Relations of the Prosecutor Office BiH.
