On the 22 of November 2023, Ambassador KINEFUCHI attended the handover ceremony for the “Project for equipping the Health Care Center Brod in Brod with X-ray machine”, which was held in the premises of the Brod Health Center, in the presence of Mr. Jeremic Igor, Director of the Brod Health Center and Mr. Vidić Zoran, Mayor of Brod Municipality.
Director Jeremić expressed his gratitude and emphasized that the donated device will contribute improving the quality of diagnose of Health Care Center.
Ambassador KINEFUCHI expressed his satisfaction that the project has been successfully completed and stated that Japan will support the improvement of the quality of life of citizens and the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s accession process to the EU, regardless of ethnicity.
Through the program “Basic Grant of Assistance for Human Security Projects” Japan granted 72,347 EUR (approximately 141,500 BAM) to equip the Health Care Center Brod with an X-ray device for patients.
The project is expected to contribute to the improvement diagnosis of approximately 3,300 patients who need to be checked up with the donated X-ray machine annualy.
