Ambassador Of The State Of Qatar Visited Brcko: A New Chapter Opened In Improving Cooperation

The Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Thursday hosted the first official visit of the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Meshaal bin Ali Al-Attiyah, thereby opening a new chapter in improving relations and cooperation between the two countries.

In the Assembly building, the ambassador was welcomed by the President of the Assembly of the Brcko District of BiH, Damir Bulcevic. During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of developing cooperation in the fields of economy, education, culture, and other sectors of common interest, with both sides expressing their readiness to intensify contacts and cooperation in the coming period.

After the meeting in the Assembly, Ambassador Al-Attiyah visited the company BIMAL d.d., where he toured the production facilities, then the Mayor of the Brcko District of BiH in the City Hall building, the White Mosque, the Islamic Community Council of Brcko, and the Aziziya Mosque in Brezovo Polje.

The visit of the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Brcko District of BiH represents an important step in strengthening mutual relations and opens up opportunities for future joint projects, it is stated in the announcement.
