The Ambassador of the USA to BiH, Patrick S. Moon, will visit Trebinje today, and visits to Stolac and Blagaj are scheduled for Friday, 25. January.
During his visit to Trebinje and Stolac, Ambassador Moon will meet with municipal officials, young activists, as well as religious and business leaders in the community.
During the visit to Blagaj, Ambassador Moon will give a speech at a ceremony to mark the completion of a joint project of restoration of churches, which was financed by the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP).
The Commission to preserve national monuments in BiH received in 2011 funds for the restoration of two churches in Blagaj: The Serbian Orthodox Church St. Basil of Ostrog (Vasilija Ostroškog) and the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity (Presvetog Trojstva).
