They discussed the bilateral military cooperation between the two countries, which is implemented through a large number of programs that have been implemented so far in the field of training, modernization and development of the BiH Armed Forces, specifically valuable donations of multi-purpose all-terrain vehicles, new helicopters, additional equipment for the Light Infantry Battalion Group, improvement of the demining process , and strengthening the capacity of the BiH Armed Forces to assist civil authorities.

The importance of 20 years of successful cooperation between BiH and Maryland, which is implemented through the State Partnership Program (SPP), was particularly emphasized.

General Lasica pointed out that the USA values the friendly and strategic partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina. He promised continued support for BiH’s Euro-Atlantic path, and pointed out that he sees many areas in which the two countries can cooperate.

In the end, the interlocutors concluded that further cooperation will be directed towards strengthening ties in the field of defense of the two countries, and expressed the expectation that the successful cooperation so far will continue through the implementation of projects through existing programs, with the aim of increasing the operational capabilities of the BiH Armed Forces.
