Our Party: It would be good if Politicians from the RS stopped provoking the West and BiH Patriots

The United States (U.S.) Treasury Department’s Foreign Assets Control Office imposed sanctions on Nenad Stevandic, Zeljka Cvijanovic, Radovan Viskovic and Milos Bukejlovic. Our Party (Nasa Stranka) reacted on that occasion.

Our Party emphasized that everyone who violates the Dayton peace agreement deserves sanctions.

“Sanctions are a serious matter. Everyone who violates Dayton deserves sanctions. America is a proven ally of the united multi-ethnic Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and sanctions are another proof of that,” they said.

They added that nobody would tolerate what the President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik is doing.

“It would be good for the politicians from the RS to understand the sanctions as a serious warning and to stop their anti-constitutional activities and to stop provoking the determination of both Western allies and BiH patriots to defend BiH”, they concluded.

To recall, as announced by the U.S. Treasury Department, these leaders are directly responsible for instigating the adoption of a law in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NARS) which declares the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiHinapplicable in the RS, thereby obstructing and endangering the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

The law-making process and the NARS website clearly indicate that the individuals covered by yesterday‘s announcement of sanctions and listed below are responsible for convening a special session of the NARS on June 27th, 2023, in order to vote on this provocative regulation.

A special session of the NARS was convened on June 27th, 2023 at the request of Radovan Viskovic, Nenad Stevandic, and Zeljka Cvijanovic, and Milos Bukejlovic presented the law to the NARS on behalf of the Government of the RS. Consequently, these four individuals are responsible for encouraging the adoption of this regulation that threatens the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Klix.ba reports.
