Americans are Becoming Involved in Special Industry in the FB&H

fabrikaThe Prime Minister of the FB&H Nermin Nikšić and Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Erdal Trhulj will sign on 13 December a Memorandum of understanding and a strategic partnership with the US company ‘Howell Machine’. This is one of the five leading companies in the special industry in the US.

‘Howell Machine Inc’ already has contracted works with companies ‘Igman’ from Konjica and ‘Ginex’ from Goražde, and according to Minister Trhulj, the goal is to link the US company with other companies such as ‘Pretis’, ‘Binas’, ‘Zrak’, etc.

‘’The most important thing is that we agree on a model of cooperation with ‘Howell’, which is new to our market, and this will be a global model with a safe, so-called GOCO management, which means that the state is the owner of the project, but the affairs are administered by the company, by its managers. This stimulates work and the interest of the management is only profit’’, said Trhulj.

‘Howell Machine’ with the Konjič company ‘Igman’ signed an agreement in June 2013 on exports worth 130 million BAM. In ‘Ginex’ in Goražde said that they already have a purchase agreement concluded in June with the US company for the delivery of ‘Ginex’s’ caps by the end of this year and for end of 2014. This business is worth 2,5 million BAM.
