The police search for the double murderer Aleks Mican, who did not return yesterday from his leave to serve his sentence in the Zenica Penitentiary Prison, ended around 9:30 a.m. Mican was arrested in the Zenica settlement of Londža and his detention in the Zenica Penitentiary is in progress – Elvedin Fišek, spokesman for the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, confirmed to Fena.
Police officers from the Police Administration Center of the ZDK MUP Police Administration worked together with officers from the Intelligence and Security Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSA) and the Federal Police Administration to locate him.
Mican was sentenced to 25 years in prison for a double murder in 2004, when he killed Senad Lepirica from Bugojno and Adem Ćatić, employees of IT Computers, in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Mojmilo.
