Today, a traffic accident took place on the part of the main road Tuzla – Srebrenik, in which an all-terrain military vehicle of EUFOR took part.

The spokeswoman of the Police Department of the MUP, TK Adnana Sprečić, told Klix.ba that the traffic accident happened around 5:10 p.m. in the immediate vicinity of the Drenik tunnel.

“One off-road EUFOR military vehicle was involved in the traffic accident, and the driver lost control for unknown reasons and ran off the road. On that occasion, a traffic sign was damaged”, Sprečić explained.

As he stated, there were three EUFOR crew members in the vehicle, namely the driver and two passengers.

“According to current information, the visor was injured, but the entire crew was transported by an EUFOR medical vehicle to UKC Tuzla,” added Sprečić.

EUFOR military police and officers from the Criminal Police Department of the Srebrenik Police Department are at the scene. The investigation will be carried out according to the appropriate procedures.
