An Increase in Industrial Production recorded

13077334_1762753010628042_362462629_nThe total seasonally adjusted industrial production in BiH in March recorded an increase of 2.4 % in comparison to February and an increase of 10.3 % compared with the same month last year, according to the Agency for Statistics of BiH.

Production of energy in March was higher by 20.4 % in comparison to the previous month, durable consumer goods by 7.3 %, capital goods by 5 %, non-durable consumer goods by 2.3 %, while production of intermediate goods was lower by 5.6 %.

Production of durable consumer goods in March was higher by 62.9 % in comparison to the same month of 2015, energy by 18.6 %, non-durable consumer goods by 10 %, capital goods by 7.6 %, and production intermediate goods by 3.8 %.

The seasonally adjusted industrial production in March, in comparison to February, increased in the area of production and supply of electricity and gas by 17.2 %, in the field of mining and quarrying by 2 %, while in the sector of processing industry was recorded decline by 2.1 %.

In March this year, compared with the same month of 2015, industrial production, calendar adjusted, was increased in the field of mining and quarrying sector by 17.3 %, in the production and supply of electricity and gas by 13.2 %, and in the field of processing industry recorded growth of 8.5 %.
