The Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) received a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a working visit from May 23rd to 26th, 2023.

The visit was realized after NCB Interpol Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, previously approached the General Secretariat of Interpol to organize a study visit to an active member state of Interpol that has successfully integrated Interpol tools, services and solutions in order to exchange experiences and good practices.

Considering the outstanding results and achievements of our country in this regard, i.e. the fact that our country is among the 20 best for consulting Interpol’s databases in the world and that our country has actually applied a whole range of Interpol’s police capacities in the past years, the idea of NCB InterpolSarajevo as a possible host for the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was imposed, which was ultimately realized.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was led by the head of NCB Riyadh, Colonel Abdulmalik Ibrahim ALSOGIAH, and it consisted of 11 members, including the representative of the General Secretariat of Interpol, Mr. Badreddin TOUIHRI.

Director Vilic welcomed the guests and presented the responsibilities and current affairs of the Directorate, stressing the importance of communication, coordination and cooperation at the international level. He particularly referred to the good relations between BiH and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the first day of the visit at the headquarters of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, the guests were presented with the structure and competences of the police bodies in BiH, the way NCB Sarajevo works, the use of Interpol services and tools, the coordination of operational activities in the field, the connection of competent bodies in BiH to the Interpol system, etc., Klix.ba reports.
