This summer, residents of Sarajevo will have opportunity to enjoy outdoor cinema in the settlement Jagomir. According to the Director of Film Center Sarajevo Jasmin Durakovic, Drive in Cinema “Dolly Bell” will be opened at the site of former film studio “Jagomir”.
“Citizens of Sarajevo will be able to come to Drive in Cinema with their cars and watch movies with their families. Laboratories and studios used to be placed at this location, and now we have a project for the reconstruction of that place in the form of archive, studio, museum and amusement park,” noted Durakovic.
When it comes to cinema fee, Durakovic stated that promotional stuff will be done at the beginning in order to attract as many people as possible.
According to him, citizens will be able to watch movie projections during weekends, on Fridays and Saturdays.
“That is, actually, a single event. Music and entertainment program will be organized before the movie projection. That will be a unique event, one cultural and touristic attraction in Sarajevo”, noted Durakovic.
“We are also planning the construction of multimedia museum that is going to be dedicated to “Valter brani Sarajevo” movie. The project has both cultural and touristic dimension since this is a large brand of our cinematography and our country,” concluded Durakovic.
