The real GDP growth in the fourth quarter of 2016, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, amounted 2,6%.
According to seasonally adjusted data, GDP increased by 0,7% in the fourth quarter of 2016, as compared to the previous quarter.
Observed by activities, in the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, real growth of the gross value added was recorded in: Administrative activities 13%, Other service activities 10,6% and Agriculture 5,6%.
Real fall of the gross value added was recorded in: Transportation and storage 4,5% and Construction 2,8%.
Gross domestic product by the production equals value added at basic prices by activities, increased by taxes on products, and reduced by subsidies on products. Gross domestic product thus equals the sum of value added at basic prices of all domestic (resident) production units and net taxes on products (taxes less subsidies on products).
