Analysis of Producer Prices in BiH in 2016

Import Export Data nap.baIn December last year, producer prices of industrial products for the total industry of BiH increased by 0.6 percent compared to November and by 0.3 percent compared to December 2015.

According to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH, compared to the previous month, producer prices of industrial products in the domestic market recorded a growth of 0.4 percent in December. Compared with the same month last year, the prices of industrial products increased by 0.5 percent.

Producer prices of industrial products on the foreign market in December 2016 are higher by 0.8 percent and lower by  0.1 percent compared to December of the previous year.

In December 2016, compared with the previous month, producer prices of industrial products increased in: energy by 0.9 percent, intermediate goods by 0.8 percent, capital goods by 0.2 percent, while fell in durable consumer goods by 0.1 percent.

Producer prices in December last year, compared to the same month in 2015, are increased in energy by 2.6 percent and capital goods by 3 percent, while falling in the intermediate goods by 0.5 percent, durable goods by 0.4 percent and non-durable by 0.7 percent.
