Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Andrijana Katić and General Director of Radio and Television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RTV FBiH) Bakir Hadžiomerović signed the Agreement on the allocation of funds on Monday in Mostar, which regulates the use of funds approved for the implementation of the project “Improvement and stabilization of the programming, production and technological system of RTV FBiH through the integrated realization of RTV activities in 2026”.

The funds were allocated on the basis of the Decision of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the adoption of the Fund Spending Program “Current Transfers and Other Current Expenditures – Subsidies to Public Enterprises – Improvement of RTV Activities”, and at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry announced.

In accordance with the aforementioned decision, funds in the amount of BAM 6,984,858.88 were approved for Radio-television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of the project, which ensures further improvement of program content, modernization of production capacities and technological development of the public RTV service.

“In the last three years, funds totaling approximately 11 million BAM have been secured for RTV FBiH, thereby confirming the commitment of the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Ministry to strengthening the capacities of the public RTV service and creating the preconditions for its stable and high-quality operation in the interest of all viewers of the Federal Television,” said Minister Andrijana Katić.

The signing of the Agreement created the conditions for the implementation of planned activities during 2026, with the aim of strengthening the quality of public information, improving technical infrastructure and ensuring the stable functioning of RTV activities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
