“Classification is necessary in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, because with some alleged neutrality we approve and enable the continuity of committing crimes,” Neven Andjelic, professor of international relations at Regents University in London, pointed out in the Plenum show.

In that sense, it must be categorized and it is inevitable that it will happen. Geopolitics has changed in relation to the Cold War, when the Non-Aligned Movement could have been a factor. It no longer exists. The Non-Aligned Movement formally exists but is ineffective. in neighboring Serbia to be neutral, then it is transferred to BiH, but as far as NATO is concerned, they do not need the membership of BiH, Kosovo or Serbia, they are in the total environment of other NATO members and the area is secured. As for some security issues within BiH – what forces could potentially destabilize Western dominance in the region? So in the form of EUFOR, the West has in a way indicated who is really the master here. ”

Andjelic emphasizes that it is up to Bosnia and Herzegovina what kind of role it wants to play and to what extent to insure itself.

“This public quarrel, the expression of contradictory views by the leading people in BiH further harms it and does not lead us anywhere. There will be no European integration. However, I do not agree with the view that EU membership would not benefit BiH. Let’s look at Romania before In 2007 and Romania today, they are two different countries, or Croatia before 2013 and today, with positive economic changes and some prosperity in the population, with more than 50,000 people moving out of BiH legally and officially to one of the 27 EU countries in 2018. “These policies and divisions will lead to further population impoverishment in BiH and thus a lack of further development and prosperity, and then we may find ourselves missing trains as we missed them 15 years ago.”
