Anniversary of the Murder of Three People in Gradacac: Today, a peaceful Protest by Citizens

Today marks one year since the crime when Nermin Sulejmanović brutally beat and then killed his unmarried wife Nizama Hećimović and broadcast it all live on social networks, and then killed father and son Džengiz and Denis Onder. On that occasion, peaceful protests will be held in this city today.

“Let’s remember our fellow citizen Nizama Hećimović, fellow citizens Denis and Džengiz Onder, as well as Tahira Čamdžić, Aida Dendić, Emira Maslan, Amra Kahrimanović, Selma Baluković, Halida Smajić, Mileva Andrić, Amela Čičkušić and her two minor children, Nermina Krajine… Let’s show together that we are against all forms of violence”, say the organizers of the Youth Association “Futura” of Međiđa Donja and the Informal Group of Citizens of Gradačac.

Activities marking the anniversary of the murders in Gradačac will last the whole day, and the central gathering is at 4:00 p.m., while a peaceful walk through the city is planned for 4:30 p.m.

Let’s remind you, Nermin Sulejmanović (35) from Gradačac killed his ex-wife by broadcasting the murder live on Instagram, and two other people, and injured three others, in the area of ​​this city, on August 11, 2023. Sulejmanović committed suicide.
