Today, rescuers found the body of another flood victim in Buturović Polje, bringing the number of victims to 22. This was confirmed for BHRT by the mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić.

This is the third victim of the catastrophic floods that hit this place, while the search for two people is still ongoing.

There are currently almost 200 rescuers on the ground from BiH, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia.

The number of people killed in floods and landslides that hit parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina has increased to 22. Of the total number of dead, sixteen people are from Jablanica, three from Konjic, and three from Fojnica.

In the area of Jablanica and Konjic, in addition to local forces, several rescue teams from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Turkey are also providing assistance. Professional services and volunteers deliver food, water, medicines and other necessities to people in villages cut off by roads. The priority of rescue teams is to find missing persons as quickly as possible, which is why they are focused on the most critical points of the affected areas.
