grave3In the locality of Snagovo, in Zvornik municipality, another mass grave has been located.

A spokeswoman for the Missing Persons Institute of B&H, Lejla Čengić said that mass grave was found by the locals while they were digging the land to set hajr-fountain.

The Missing Persons Institute of B&H was informed about a discovered mass grave. Investigators of Institute went on the site and located greater number of human remains,” said Čengić.

According to her, it is assumed that these are Bosniak civilians killed during the war.

Čengić recalls that, at the site of Snagovo in the past, seven secondary mass graves were discovered from which mortal remains of 818 Bosniak civilians killed in 1995, were exhumed.

From the Institute for Missing Persons a request to the Prosecutor’s Office in order to schedule an exhumation was sent, and until then the security of site will provide members of the Police Station Sapna.
