The fifth Tuzla Film Festival was closed after the declaration of the best films in five categories and with the screening of the film “No smoking in Sarajevo” at the National Theatre Tuzla.
The Fairy of TFF for the best feature film went to the film “Death in Sarajevo” by the BiH director Danis Tanović. The decision was made unanimously by the three-member jury consisting of Enis Bešlagić, Zlatan Zuhrić Zuhra and Srđan Vukadinović.
The award was taken over by the BiH director Ahmed Imamović on behalf of the team, and then he read the letter signed by the author and acting team of the film.
“This means a lot to us and strengthens our faith that domestic film will survive, with great help of domestic festivals and we hope for the support of BiH audience,” it was written.
Following the official award ceremony, the film “No smoking in Sarajevo” was screened. The film was made by the Italian Gianluca Loffredo and the French production, and it is dedicated to the rock band Zabranjeno pusenje.
Within this year’s Tuzla Film Festival, lovers of the seventh art had the opportunity to enjoy more than 100 film achievements.
