For the first time in the history of the defense industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), the companies Unis Ginex d.d. Gorazde and Igman d.d. Konjic are participating as exhibitors at a prestigious trade show in Las Vegas. According to the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry, Vedran Lakic, these achievements bring new jobs, strengthen the economy, and ensure livelihoods for many families. Numerous meetings and agreements on multimillion-dollar deals have further confirmed the potential of the domestic defense industry.
“For the first time in the history of the defense industry in the FBiH, the companies Unis Ginex d.d. Gorazde and Igman d.d. Konjic are participating as exhibitors at the SHOT SHOW, a prestigious trade show held in Las Vegas, United States (U.S.),” stated a press release from Minister Lakic’s Office.
“Dozens of meetings and negotiations on multimillion-dollar deals have once again demonstrated that the defense industry of the FBiH has enormous potential and that investing in its development yields multiple benefits,” said Federal Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry Vedran Lakic.
He added that successes at prestigious trade shows, discussions, and new contracts lead to new employment opportunities, stimulate economic development, and provide income sources for hundreds of families.
By participating in this prestigious trade show, the factories of the defense industry of the FBiH showcase domestic BiH products on the U.S. market and enhance and expand existing cooperation in this part of the world.
“In addition to Unis Ginex and Igman, representatives of PRETIS d.d. Vogosca and the Federal Directorate for the Defense Industry are also attending the trade show,” the press release from Minister Lakic’s Office added.
