Application for Job worth of 14 Million BAM still open

banoviciBanovici coal mines announced the tender for services of supervisory authority – engineers over the implementation of contracts on engineering, procurement and construction – EPC contract for the Thermal Power Plant Banovići, block 1-350 MW. The estimated value of the contract excluding VAT amounts to 14 million BAM and the deadline May 3rd.

As previously announced, TE Banovici should officially start production in July or August next year.

The construction of power plants in Banovici should contribute to the further development of enterprises and job creation, as well as to the expansion of the current capacity.

The value of the contract project amounts to 405 million euros and during the project, domestic companies should take 20 percent of the project’s value, which amounts to 70 million Euros.

Calculations show that around 1,000 workers will be constantly engaged in the realization of this project and that the process will last for three to four years.
