vlada-tkThe deadline for submission of proposals for the appointment of the future Prime Minister and Ministers of Tuzla Canton government has expired. Citizens, representatives of the association and groups in the past few days have submitted to the Tuzla Canton Assembly the names of the candidates which should consist of the new government of Tuzla Canton.

According to the Tuzla Canton Assembly, the appointment of the Prime Minister and Ministers of the future expert government will be conducted in accordance with the constitutional and legal provisions.

“I do not expect that there will be some pressure to do something in accordance with the constitution and the law. I think that deputies will not accept to do something that is not in the constitution, nor to break the laws for something that will be suitable to them”.

Ilić states that the appointment of candidates will be followed by the consultations with all interested, in order to form the best possible government. The deadline is determined to be 1 March according to discussions with associations, informal groups and citizens.

However, according to Ilić, people do not present any problem and the deadline is not specified in the constitution. Slađan Ilić will appoint new candidates in the period of 7 days from the day that he receives the names of candidates.

“He does not have a prescribed timeline after all. It is realistic for the quality of government to be important which can handle the problems, rather than the time limit”.

After the appointment of candidates of the Tuzla Canton government, the appointment of ministers among which some are former ministers is planned.
