The Mayor of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zijad Nišić, on the occasion of the tragic death of a minor boy and his father in a serious traffic accident that happened on Sunday in the Sandići settlement, declared April 18 as the Day of Mourning in the District.

A father and son, born in 1975 and 2007, died after their car crashed into a concrete wall, the police confirmed.

The Day of Mourning is marked by the obligatory display of the BiH flag at half-mast, on the buildings of the Government and institutions of the District.

Media houses in the territory of the Brčko District of BiH and organizers of cultural, artistic and sports events in the territory of the Brčko District of BiH are obliged to adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning.
