Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund from Germany Donates Food, Water Pumps and Generators to Flooded Cities

asb hilfeThe non-governmental organization Arbeiter – Samariter – Bund eV ( ASB )  from Germany, started delivery of aid to flooded areas, which consists of 475 packages of food and water, 475 packages of  hygiene supplies and 475 packages of bed linen and towels. Namely, they are financed by the Government of Germany with 110 000 Euros and all the humanitarian aid will be sent to municipalities of Maglaj, Doboj, Šamac, Vukosavlje, Odžak, Brčko Distrikt  and Domaljevac.

 

Through the implementation of the project in Maglaj, Doboj, Zavidovići, Šamac, Vukosavlje, Odžak, Brčko Distrikt, Orašje and Zenica, the ASB will deliver a set of reconstruction which will consist of four chainsaws, two water pumps and two generators of capacity 2.5 kW .

 

During the first days of floods, ASB with its own funds of 17 000 Euros, distributed 200 packages of food, water and hygiene to Sanski Most and 300 of the same packages in Janja near Bijeljina .

 

In total, ASB delivered six tons of food and hygiene supplies and 5 000 gallons of water.
