Police conducted an Action of increased Control of Persons staying in Reception Camps

In accordance with the operational plan of action, members of the MUP of the Una-Sana Canton, the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies and inspectors for foreigners of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners carried out an action of increased control of persons and accommodation facilities in the Temporary Reception Center (PPC) of Lipa in the morning hours today, and in order to find illegal means, narcotics and the similar.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USK and the Service for Affairs with Foreigners will continue in the coming period with the implementation of such operational activities that will contribute to the improvement of the security situation within the temporary reception centers in the area of the USK, announced the Service for Affairs with Foreigners.

Looking at the current issue of illegal migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and especially in the area of the Una-Sana Canton, the Prime Minister of USK Mustafa Ružnić, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton Božidar Živko and the Director of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners Žarko Laketa believe that the state of migration in BiH is given their increased number, under control.

In order to keep the current situation in the field of illegal migration under control, it was agreed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USK, the Service for Affairs with Foreigners and the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies, which provides security at the Lipa Temporary Reception Center (PPC) in the territory of the USK, will carry out increased activities in order to improve the general security situation in the Center.
