The Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has made a list of the largest BiH exporters and importers. As it was explained, the list of TOP 10 importers and exporters in BiH in 2017 was created based on the value achieved in the last year.

According to the official data of the Indirect Taxation Authority, the list of companies with the largest exports from BiH is led by “ArcelorMittal Zenica”, the Company for Design, Development, Production and Movement in automotives “Prevent Visoko” and “Aluminij Mostar”.

The fourth place in this list took the “Coke coal industry for Production of Coke coal, Chemical Products and Energy Lukavac” , the fifth took the “Alumina – Company for Production, Movement and Services Zvornik”, and on the sixth place there was “SISECAM Soda Lukavac” – a company for production of light and heavy soda and other soda based products.

The last four places on the list are taken by the “Bimal – company for oil production from Brcko District BiH, then “EFT Mine and Thermal Power Plant Stanari”, “CIMOS TMD Automotive industry Gradacac” and “Optima Group from Banja Luka”.

The list has almost no change compared to 2016 . Back then, the largest BH exporter was again “ArcelorMittal Zenica” and it was followed by “Prevent” and “Aluminij”, while other companies had the similar or same positions.

But unlike 2016, there is no “Borac export-import” company from Travnik on the list of the largest exporters in 2017 . Its place was taken by the “Mine and Thermal Power Plant Stanari”, which started with operation by the end of 2016 .

Among the top 10 importers are “Optima Group Banja Luka”, “Holdina Sarajevo”, “ArcelorMittal Zenica”, “Prevent Visoko”, “Aluminij Mostar”, “GIKIL Lukavac”, “Petrol BH Oil Company Sarajevo”, “Bimal Brcko District”, “Porsche BH Sarajevo” and “FIS Vitez”.
