Armed Forces of BiH completed Construction of Container Settlement for Migrants

In accordance with the Decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, members of the Engineering Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH) yesterday completed engineering works to construct a container settlement for migrants in the Lipa camp near Bihac.

The works on the construction of the access road for the installation of a container settlement in the Lipa camp, the works on wastewater and rainwater drainage, the plateau in front of the camp have all been completed, said the Ministry of Defense of BiH.

The works lasted from February 3 to 9, 2021. Representatives of the local community expressed gratitude for the assistance provided, and after the handover of the works, the AF unit will tomorrow return to its home location in the area of deployment in Derventa.
