As part of the two-day exercise Silver Arrow, which is being carried out at the location of the Dubrava Barracks and Airport near Tuzla, training was given  for the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Logistics Command on the procedures for loading and unloading cargo from the C-130 Hercules transport aircraft.

The training is attended by four BiH Armed Forces teams from the 5th, 6th and 8th Logistics Support Battalions of the AFBiH Logistics Command, and their instructors are members of the US Air Force in Europe (USAFE).

“C-130 is one of the most famous transport aircraft in the world and I am glad that we will be trained in loading and unloading operations in that aircraft,” said the commander of the Emergency Platoon of the 5th Battalion of Logistics Support of the AFBiH, Lieutenant Semir Kustur.

The Silver Arrow exercise will continue tomorrow at the Dubrava military airport near Tuzla, and completion of the exercise is scheduled for Thursday.
